There are hundreds of miles of ATV / snowmobile trails in Wisconsin and Michigan.  For Michigan you will need a trail permit.  They can be purchased in Ironwood and Bessemer at the Chamber of Commerce and most bars.  Big Powderhorn Lodging also sells them.  For Wisconsin all you need is to have your ATV licensed. 

Access to the main trail is off of Big Powderhorn road.  Cross over Hwy. 2 and go south about ½ mile.  The trail crosses there.  Go right to Ironwood and left to Bessemer. click for map

We have rented ATVs / Snowmobiles from each of the below companies.

  We have rented ATV’s from Cloverland.  The service was great and we were very pleased.  They also rent and sell snowmobiles.

• Hurley Motorsports
  We purchased snowmobiles and ATV’s from Hurley Motorsports.  They were very accommodating and we are very please with their service.
